If you’ve ever hired a developer, you may have wondered whether or not one of your own workers (or yourself for that matter,) could have done the job yourself.
In the past, it was required to find a technology expert to create email marketing campaigns, pop-up forms and marketing automation modules.
That’s not the case anymore.
A wide range of tools are available for your marketing pleasure, and none of them are as sleek and easy-to-use as Wishpond. In this detailed Wishpond review, we’ll discuss how you can easily run your entire ecommerce marketing program with Wishpond.
I’ve played around with many marketing tools in the past. Today, you’re mainly going to find solutions that don’t require coding.
The only problem is that many of these marketing suites have many complicated features packed in that you’re left scratching your head. So much for making things easier without coding!
In short, you’re often left in the same state of confusion, even though the program promised so much more.
When I look at Wishpond it’s quite different. Not only is the pricing reasonable for small to large businesses, but the dashboard is pretty clean.
The templates are literally plug-and-play, where you jump into the builder, choose the type of marketing element you want, then change the text and logo.
Running an ecommerce business is already complicated enough, but you can truly run your entire marketing program with Wishpond. Therefore, we’d like to walk you through the steps and show you how easy it is to accomplish this goal.
Creating and Publishing an Ecommerce Landing Page
One of the primary features with Wishpond involves adding, creating and quickly publishing a landing page. On the dashboard homepage, you can click on the Landing Page icon to get started.
This allows you to select a professionally designed template. Some of them look more suitable for ecommerce, but most of them can be edited for that use.
When you land on the editor it lets you add anything from videos to images and countdown timers to customer reviews.
Your product is most likely going to be the center focus, but this drag and drop editor appears rather easy to use.
For example, I added a video within seconds. All I would have to do after that is change the width, then place the YouTube link in the field.
Once you’ve adjusted all of the content and made your landing page look the way you need it, a Publish button is available in the upper right-hand corner. Click that to see all of your publishing options. Wishpond automatically creates a landing page link for you, but you can also choose to publish on your own custom domain, on a Facebook page or by using an embed code.

Creating and Adding a Popup to Your Landing Page
A popup module could be useful for landing leads, acquiring email addresses and even for directly sending visitors to product pages. In your current landing page campaign, find the Popup button.
You can select a template from the dozens provided.
After I publish the popup, it shows up right on top of the landing page that I just created.
The publishing options are impressive since you can select the type of popup, whether you want it to show on mobile devices, the frequency and much more.
You’re also able to choose between a number of different “triggers” that will activate your popup. These triggers include a timed delay, click, scroll, page entry, and exit intent.
These allow you to optimize your popup delivery, showing it to your page visitors exactly when you want them to see it.
One of the most important settings is under the Match Rules tab. This is where you decide which page you’d like the popup to reveal itself on. For this example, I chose a Wishpond campaign, then selected the landing page I made earlier.
The Different Types of Wishpond Popups
You gain access to a wide range of popup types in Wishpond. Some of them are:
- Welcome mats
- Welcome bars
- Regular popup, and more
Adding a Popup to Your Ecommerce Website
Adding a popup directly to your website takes maybe a minute. Go to the Publishing Options area for that particular popup, then locate the spot that says Add to Website Code. All you have to do is copy that code and paste it into the website’s HTML.
Creating an Auto-Responder Email for Those Who Convert on the Landing Page
You’ll typically want a welcome email to go out when someone converts on your landing page. Go back to the campaign dashboard page, then select the Welcome Email button.
You’ll see all sorts of conditions to choose from. For instance, you might want to add a condition that a user must first convert on your campaign.
The actions below the conditions are where the magic happens. For example, you could decide to send out an email (your action) when a customer converts (your condition).
Creating a Multi-Email Drip Campaign for Leads
A multi-email drip campaign works the same way as a welcome email. The only difference is that you’re adding multiple emails after certain conditions are met.
As an example, I might create that initial welcome message but also include an action for a second email to go out. Ecommerce companies may send things like blog posts or training guides. It’s really up to you since you can add as many conditions and actions as you want.

There’s also an area to design your welcome email and drip campaign. You’re free to include items like images, buttons, boxes, and columns. Most of the templates are good to go just by changing the text and adding your logo.
Could Your Ecommerce Company Use the Help of Wishpond?
In my opinion, Wishpond is one of the easiest ways to launch landing pages, popups and drip campaigns. You’ll even find interesting templates for things like contests and sweepstakes.
Overall, it’s a clean, powerful combination of tools that you should take a look at. And at the starting price of $49 per month, you’re bound to make back your money fast.
